Dimitris Hristopulos je dekan Fakulteta političkih nauka Univerziteta Panteion u Atini i profesor pravne teorije i teorije države na Departmanu za političke nauke i istoriju. Hristopulos je bio predsednik Helenske lige za ljudska prava (2003–2011) i predsednik Međunarodne federacije za ljudska prava (2016–2019).

At the end of WWII, Europeans declared, “Never again.” The aftermath of WWII was marked by an anti-fascist commitment throughout the Western world. Today, however, this commitment seems to be fading more than ever before. And it is not only the „usual suspects“ who are to blame, as many might have stereotypically believed a few years ago. Why is this happening? What are the ideological and moral pillars underlying this shift? Is it irreversible? Is it true that „war is back,“ or is that simply an ideology, a false representation of reality? Finally, is the far right as distant from us—or from what we once thought—as we assumed?
